Register information may be shared within the Registrar’s group and with the Registrar’s subcontractors. We demand legality from all subcontractors.

Registry security principles

The data is kept technically secure. Physical access to the data is blocked by access control, as well as other security measures. Access to information requires adequate rights, as well as multi-phase authentication. Unauthorized access is also prevented e.g. through firewalls and other technical protection. Only the Registrar and separately designated persons have access to the register data. Users are bound by professional secrecy. The registry information is backed up securely and can be restored when needed.

Storage time of personal data

The controller shall retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which the data were collected, within the limits provided by the applicable law and in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, in particular accounting requirements.

The right to check and modify the information in the register

The person in the register has the right to inspect, correct and delete his or her personal data or refuse to process the data for justified reasons. The request must be made in writing to the Registrar. As required by law, you must sign your request and attach a photocopy of your ID that shows your signature. You must also indicate the address to which the reply should be sent.

The registrar will not disclose personal data to third parties except when required by the Finnish authorities.

The information can be deleted and edited at the request of the person. Requests will be addressed to the e-mail address mentioned in point 2.
