NordHero, part of Mintly Group, has achieved the AWS Government Services Competency awarded by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the first Finnish AWS partner. AWS agreements signed during the summer and early autumn give NordHero the right to resell AWS services to both enterprise and public-sector customers, and the new validation strengthens NordHero’s position as a trusted partner for demanding public-sector cloud, data and AI projects.
A Significant Recognition of Public-Sector Expertise
The AWS Government Services Competency is a specialised validation awarded by Amazon Web Services to partners that have demonstrated deep technical expertise and a proven track record of successful public-sector customer deliveries on the AWS cloud. The validation requires independently verified competence in areas such as security, architecture and operational continuity.
NordHero is the first and currently the only Finnish AWS partner to hold this validation. The achievement places NordHero in a unique position as a partner for cloud and AI projects across Finnish public administration.
The Government Services Competency complements the AWS Data & Analytics Competency that NordHero achieved earlier. Together, these two validations verify NordHero’s expertise in public-sector cloud projects as well as in leveraging data as part of complete solutions.

Summer and Early-Autumn Agreements Strengthen Public-Sector Capability
In addition to the Government Competency validation, during the summer and early autumn of 2026 NordHero has signed agreements with AWS that create the contractual foundation for reselling AWS services to public-sector customers:
- AWS Distribution Seller Agreement – authorises NordHero to resell AWS services to end customers as part of a complete solution.
- AWS Public Sector Authorization – complements the previous agreement and authorises NordHero to resell AWS services specifically to public-sector customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom.
Together, these agreements and the Government Services Competency validation make NordHero a partner that can offer Finnish public-sector organisations both verified expertise and a contractually ready path to AWS cloud services.
